Conclusions:
The results indicate that combined phacoemulsification and transpupillary silicone oil removal and Acrylic PC IOL implantation through a single corneal incision was safe and effective in cases of cataract with previous SO and a stable retina. Retinal comorbidity accounts for the visual outcome.
