Conclusions:
Pentacam Scheimpflug device offers an objective measure of lens densitometry on nuclear cataracts. Comparative analysis with LOCS III showed a positive correlation between the groups, however a clinical difference in nuclear opalescence does not necessarily mean a difference in densitometry.
