Materials/Methods:
Six groups were designed based on the LOCS III classification. The patients were examined by two ophthalmologists. The first examinator performed the slit-lamp evaluation and classified the nuclear opalescence. To reduce operator-dependent variables, Pentacam's automatic release mode was used. The Scheimpflug densitometric method provided by the Pentacam was used to measure the nuclear density. The measures were obtained by the operator who did not have access to the clinical classification. The test of Kruskal-Wallis was used.
