Purpose/Objective:
Ocular complications due to snakebite are rare. Damages of cornea, conjunctiva, and extraocular muscles directly exposed to the venom and neurologic problems such as ophthalmoplegia have mainly been reported. Rarely, central retinal artery occlusion, angle closure glaucoma, uveitis, vitreous hemorrhage were reported. Herein we report a patient who developed bilateral retinal hemorrhage following a snakebite.
