Results:
The ReSTOR lens has an adequate effective DOF of 2.75D from distance to near with a VSOTF maximum for infinity and approximately 20 inches. The ReZoom lens has an effective DOF of 2.25 D. The VSOTF for the ReZoom lens was more uniform with no significant maximum. Decentering the lenses resulted in a substantial decrease in DOF for both the ReZoom and ReSTOR, with the best retinal image quality being maintained for distance vision.
