About the Presenter:
Currently in her second year of ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Olivia Lee intends to pursue cornea fellowship in 2009. Originally from Maryland, she began her interest in ophthalmology while interning at the National Eye Institute, Laboratory of Immunology from 1997 to 2004. In 1998, Olivia enrolled in the Rice/Baylor Medical Scholar's Program and completed her bachelor's degree from Rice University in 2001 and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 2005. During her transitional year, Olivia rotated through Massachusettes Eye and Ear Infirmary and Moorfields Eye Hospital. She currently resides in Manhattan. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys designing jewelry, traveling, cooking and singing.
