About the Presenter:
Professor Reinstein is medical director of the London Vision Clinic, UK. He is Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Honorary Consultant Ophthalmologist at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, and former full Professor of Ophthalmology at the CHNO des Quinze-Vingts, University of Paris VI. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, American Academy of Ophthalmology and Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Professor Reinstein is a co-inventor of the Artemis VHF digital ultrasound system and has led the development of applications for this device in refractive surgery. His special interests include the prevention of iatrogenic ectasia, early detection of keratoconus, development of aberration-free ablation profiles, excimer laser presbyopic treatment, corneal biomechanics and epithelial wound healing dynamics. He has published 44 peer-reviewed articles, 15 book chapters and over 70 articles in the ophthalmic press.
