About the Presenter:
Volkan Hurmeric, MD. completed his medical training in 1997 and ophthalmology residency in 2003 at the Gulhane Military Medical Academy & Medical School (GMMA & MS) in Ankara, Turkey. He worked as a general ophthalmologist between 2003 and 2006 at the same clinic and received Assistant Professorship degree at 2007. He is a member of Turkish Ophthalmology Society and currently working in Cornea and Refractive Surgery Department and Eye Bank of GMMA & MS. His primary interests are excimer laser and keratoplasty. He has been married for 3 years to Filiz Hurmeric and has a son.
