About the Presenter:
Dr Ken Hayashi is the director of the Hayashi Eye Hospital in Fukuoka, Japan. He graduated in medicine from Kyushu University in 1982 and completed postgraduate training in 1989. His main research interests are anterior segment diseases, particularly as they relate to cataract surgery, keratoplasty, and glaucoma surgery. He has published approximately 80 peer-reviewed articles in internationally acclaimed journals. He currently serves as editor of the Japanese Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
