In this retrospective study 50 eyes of 48 consecutive patients with medically uncontrolled glaucoma after filtering surgery underwent reconstruction of filtration zone. Mean age of the patients was 65.45 ñ 9.98 years. There were 23 men and 25 women. IOP decompensation happened at mean 3.5 years after filtration surgery. Mean preoperative IOP was 36.2 ñ 8.1 mm Hg. Decompressive intrascleral cavities according to UBM data were divided by square into small (less than 0.16 sq. mm) - 12 eyes, medium (0.16 to 0.78 sq. mm) - 22 eyes and large (more than 0.78 sq. mm) - 16 eyes. All the patients underwent reconstruction of filtration zone in terms of 3 months to 5.5 years after filtration surgery.
