Materials/Methods:
The subjects were 121 eyes of 62 patients who underwent LASIK using FS laser from July 2007 to September 2007 at Shinagawa LASIK Center. Corneal flaps were prepared using FS laser at 4 different energies (1.0, 1.1, 1.15, 1.2 æJ) on corneal beds. The patients were examined for occurrence of DLK next day of LASIK. All of the DLKs in this study were grade 1 according to Linebarger's classification. The degrees of DLK were sub-classified into 3 grades according to areas of DLK. The degrees of DLK were correlated with FS laser power, OBL and BIRs.
