Materials/Methods:
WONE would like to work in conjunction with existing national groups, such as Women In Ophthalmology (WIO) and Ophthalmic Women Leaders (OWLS) to foster relationships between new and veteran female ophthalmologists and facilitate research efforts. WONE works with industry partners to sponsor educational meetings designed to facilitate open discussions between local female ophthalmologists. WONE creates a network for future collaborations for clinical or research endeavors. WONE investigates practice patterns and issues that may be important to the women ophthalmologists in this area.
