Results:
23 eyes of 14 patients received hyperopic LASIK.Out of 14 patients 12 were males and 2 were females.The age at surgery ranged from 19 years to 46 years.The preoperative UCVA ranged from 20/20 to 20/400 and preoperative BCVA ranged from 20/20 to 20/125.The mean preoperative spherical equivalent was +5.47D(range +2.5D to +9.5D.The follow up ranged from 1 month to 3.5 years.The postoperative UCVA at last follow-up ranged from 20/20 to 20/100 and post operative BCVA ranged from 20/20 to 20/60. Spherical equivalent at the end of 1 month ranged from 0 to +4.5D(mean +1.82D) and at the last follow up15 eyes of 9 patients)ranged from -1.5 to +7D (mean +1.9D.At the last follow up,73.33% had uncorrected visual acuity of 20/40 or better.Loss of best corrected visual acuity was not seen in any eye.Epithelial ingrowth confined to the periphery was seen in 1 eye.
