Materials/Methods:
CH and CRF were measured for 182 eyes in three groups. Group 1 consists of 120 eyes defined as normal based on clinical and topographic findings. Group 2 consists of 25 eyes defined as forme fruste keratoconus (abnormal topographic findings in the absence of clinical findings and/or fellow eye with manifest keratoconus). Group 3 consists of 37 eyes defined as manifest keratoconus, based on characteristic clinical observation (Munson sign, scissoring of the retinoscopic reflex, asymmetric corneal thinning, Fleischer ring, Vogt striae) and topographic features. Statistical analysis was performed to examine differences among the groups.
